Jacob Carlson, MD

Dr. Jacob Carlson grew up in Arkansas and attended Little Rock Catholic High School for Boys, where he graduated as valedictorian. He went on to enroll in the prestigious Medical Scholars Program at Saint Louis University, graduating summa cum laude with a degree in Biology.

He earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where he also completed a five-year residency in General Surgery and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Dr. Carlson is double board-certified in both General Surgery and Plastic Surgery.
He continued his training with a three-year fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Florida, serving as chief resident in his final year. There, he gained extensive experience in both aesthetic and reconstructive procedures, including microvascular surgery, treatment of hand and facial injuries, and correction of craniofacial anomalies. During this time, he authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and received national recognition for his research and presentations.
To further specialize in aesthetic surgery, Dr. Carlson completed an additional one-year fellowship in Aesthetic Surgery at North Texas Plastic Surgery.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Carlson enjoys spending time with his fiancée, Olivia, and her Goldendoodle, running, attending sporting events, and watching stand-up comedy.
